Why it's time to stop the Ohio State hate.

This is 2014. Almost 2015. Maurice Clarett played at Ohio State 12 years ago. That's ancient history. Jim Tressel and his stuff? He was suspended and heavily fined before being given the boot completely. Thad Motta, the respected basketball coach at Ohio State has never had a hint of a scandal. Former VU women's coach Jim Foster coached there for 11 scandal free years. Our very own Vice Chancellor David Williams was a law professor at Ohio State.
The Buckeyes lost their starting QB and didn't miss a beat this year. Then they lost the backup QB and drubbed Wisconsin 59-0 with a 3rd string QB. It's time to recognize when credit is due. There is no reason for this overwhelming hate of Ohio State by many VU fans. It makes no sense. OSU is ranked better in academics than most of the schools in the SEC. Columbus is very similar to Nashville in that it is the state capital in the middle of the state with a university by the edge of downtown and sprawling suburbs spilling into neighboring counties. It's not some horrible place.
