This has made the rounds to more than one other VU sports related electronic message board for whatever it's worth.

" - JC played three games last season re-injuring a knee which had not been appropriately rehabilitated after two knee surgeries. I understand SEC approved his medical hardship waiver recently on this basis. (That’s why he still has 3 years of eligibility after playing as a true freshman in 2013).
- When the new Offensive Coordinator, KD came on board, in Spring 2014, he immediately told JC he should “stop trying to be a leader, stop trying to help other players, and work on his own game.”
- In June, 2014, KD brought his son in to play wide receiver. To the shock of many, his son was quickly moved past 7 players on the in practice and as reported on the depth chart prior to Game 1.
- Despite this move, JC was the #1 Wide Receiver coming out of Fall camp as reported by CDM and depth chart.
- In Game 1, Thursday, August 28th, JC was targeted a few times and made 4 catches for 28 yards. KD’s son was targeted a similar number of times and had some drops. Yet KD berated JC in front of team and receiving corps during game. While at same time, KD’s son was applauded for his effort and consoled for the drops.
- On Sunday, after Game 1, in a bonehead move, Coach Mason made KD apologize to JC in front of team.
- Two days later at the next practice, KD retaliated by publicly re-assigning JC’s package of plays to his son, Chandler Dorrell. JC was assigned essentially a run blocking role for the next two games.
- When JC was on the field (in Game 2 and 3), there was really no reason for him to get off the line or beat press coverage.
- J- C quit and received a release immediately after Game 3.
- KD and the wide receiver coach were fired immediately after season ended (in a small part due to the issues surrounding wide receiver management)."
